The previous template chained the node directly into the filter
input string, producing hrefs like:
.../nodes/seed.radicle.dev/seed.radicle.dev users/did:key:…
The node appeared twice and a space replaced a slash. The root
cause was commit 6309f51, which refactored a hardcoded URL to use
the `explore` filter but passed the node via `append` instead of
as the filter's positional argument.
The fix assigns the node to a variable first and passes it to
`explore` directly, keeping the filter input to `users/<did>`.
Per-author node override continues to work.

By not excluding `publish`, Jekyll did copy all previous versions of the
website, causing `publish` to grow bigger and bigger.
Exclude the directory to prevent.
Add a quick start guide that provides a more condensed tour of getting
started on Radicle.
It provides how to install the toolchain, start the node, initialise a
repository, clone a repository, and next steps.
On the index, instead of linking to the user guide, link to this guide
instead for getting started.
- Ruby 4.0 removed `logger` from the default gems, but Jekyll 4.4
still requires it at load time, causing `bundle exec jekyll build`
to fail with `cannot load such file -- logger`.
- Declare `logger` explicitly so the build works on Ruby 4.0+ without
affecting older Rubies that still ship it.
- update dependencies for macOS arm64
- fixes make target to install all dependencies (not just jekyll,
which is just one of the ruby gems required)

- Update network stats to April 2026 (~8000 repositories and 600+ nodes
online weekly as seen by the public seed node we operate).
- Refresh codebase / project age figures.
- Consolidate the three Monetization & Funding questions into one
"Funding" question covering free-software licensing, the funding
model (maintainer-led, Radworks grants, no influence over the
project), and the no-blockchain clarification.

Instead of requiring JavaScript to dynamically fetch release metadata,
generate at build time of the website, and only use JavaScript to change
the data if it does not match what is served by files.radicle.dev.
This allows users to obtain information about releases and download URLs
without having JavaScript enabled.
This works without JavaScript, and starts out with the user preference
(according to the browser) by default. If JavaScript is available, the
toggle writes to LocalStorage.
Instead of having the link to the homepage (via the logo) and the theme
switcher in the footer, split this up. The logo is now in the top left
and the theme toggle in the bottom right. The footer itself is removed
on the homepage, but kept for blog posts, guides, etc.
